Future Jailbreak Info For The iPhone 5 And iPad 2

If you were worried about the future of jailbreaking when it came to the iPhone 5 and iPad 2, you can put your fears to rest! News from MyGreatFest has jailbreakers and third party developers talking excitedly for the upcoming iPhone as well as any other devices that Apple could put on the market within the next year. The reason for all this commotion? P0sixninja, a notorious name in the jailbreaking community, has announced that there are not one, but FIVE new userland ways that jailbreaks can unlock the iPhone line and iPad 2 units!

If you’re lost and confused by this news, don’t worry, we’ll explain it for you. Basically, a userland jailbreak operates via your system’s software, much in the same way that JailbreakMe 3.0 did before it was deemed obsolete on newer devices. A piece of software is loaded onto your idevice, creating a jailbreak for you to manipulate. The hardware-based exploits are those like Limera1n exploit, found by Geohot, which jailbreaks your device forever.

Apparently, the next jailbreak from greenpois0n will be a userland jailbreak just the same as JailbreakMe. It was also heard that the Chronic Dev team will be trying to put out an iPhone 5 jailbreak as soon as humanly possible.

The team is as ready as it can be for the iPhone 5 jailbreak, without having the actual handset. Once the iPhone 5 is available, the Chronic Dev Team will be working hard to find a jailbreak solution, and release it to the public.

According to reports from MyGreatFest, jailbreakers are anticipating this new release from Apple and have already prepared themselves to tackle the firmware to create a standing jailbreak. This is welcomed new for many, especially since reports of an “unbreakable” firmware were in talks for a while. We’re here to tell you that jailbreaking is here to continue with iOS 5, the iPhone 5 and the iPad 2.
